Parsley, that miraculous spice!

Do you know how else you can use parsley, except as a condiment?

Parsley is much more than spice that enhances the flavor of your food or ordinary ornaments. There are numerous medicinal properties and can be used for cosmetic purposes.
Parsley contains two groups of special ingredients, which are very important for our health.
The first group of ingredients contains natural essential oils, which include myristicin, limonene, eugenol, and alpha-thujene. The second group includes flavonoids: apiin, apigenin, luteolin and crisoeriol.
In addition, parsley is an excellent source of vitamins C, A and K.

Parsley tea for slimming

Parsley tea is great for expulsion of toxins from the body, to strengthen the gastric glands against heart disease, kidney disease, and improves metabolism. Spring is the perfect time to decide to detoxify the body. Parsley contains two very important ingredients, which are apiol and myristicin. These are the elements that make the urine flow increases, which significantly lowers the removal of urinary tract infections. Flavonoids, which includes parsley, especially luteolin, act as antioxidants, binding to free radicals and thereby preventing their harmful effects on the body.

Parsley tea is easy to make:
1. boil water (about 1 liter)
2. add cleansed parsley root in a water

3. let it boil for 1 minute
4. let it cool down (room temperature)

Parsley tea is prepared for removal of excess water from the body, so you can lose a kilo or two. Many slimming teas contain parsley.

Problems with period

If you have a problem with painful or irregular menstruation, parsley is again a solution for you, as it promotes bleeding. Snacking parsley in the days before the cycle removes excess fluid from the body and prevents premenstrual bloating.
However, parsley is not entirely harmless plant. First of all, its use during pregnancy has to be controlled and metered. Even small amounts of parsley can cause digestive processes and facilitate easy period. So be careful when you use parsley in pregnancy!

Parsley for skin

Parsley is good for skin care, especially against freckles since it is rich in vitamins A and C, and many minerals. A handful of parsley leaves, finely chop and soak in a liter of cold water in the evening. Drain in the morning. Wash your face morning and night
In a fight against wrinkles, you can use the same recipe, just reduce the amount of water (instead of using a liter, use two deciliter). Soak a cotton ball in the resulting liquid and  lightly coat the area around the eyes, mouth and neck. Allow the skin to dry on air. Repeat this treatment several times in half an hour.
