Healing Properties Of Cloves

Cloves have remarkable medicinal properties, thanks to significant quantities of traditional nutrients, but also a variety of flavonoids. From cloves are usually prepared paste or oil for medicinal purposes. Clove is often used in cosmetic products such as creams and lotions, soaps and perfumes. Oil is used for massage to resolve pain and to relax the muscles.

First aid for toothache and bad breath

Cloves have always been used against bad breath, but it was found that has analgesic properties, and is especially effective in toothache
How to use it?
You can put whole cloves on the gums, as close to painful area, near tooth which is problematic. Keep it there as long as possible. A thin skin membrane of gums easily absorbs oil from it and provides immediate relief, you'll soon notice yourself
You can also put a drop of clove essential oil. But only a drop! Since the clove essential oil can be dangerous if used in large quantities, and it may cause tissue necrosis. And so I beg you, use the essential oil with extreme caution!


Natural aphrodisiac  

Clove is a known natural aphrodisiac.

Method of use:
Drink two cups of clove tea every day or take two capsules clove powder twice a day.
 

How to make clove tea: 
Pour 2-3 cloves with 2.5 oz of hot water and leave covered for 15 minutes to rest. After that, filter the tea and drink.


Dissolves dangerous blood clots

There is evidence that certain compounds in cloves act as antihistamines.This is one of the most powerful natural solvent of blood clots. Danish researchers have discovered that clove  has stronger effects than aspirinin (which many people use as part of the therapy in the treatment of high blood pressure and elevated cholesterol) in dissolution of blood clots

Clove Tincture

Ingredients:

     20 grams of cloves
     1 oz of 70-proof spirits

Pour the alcohol over cloves (coarsely grinded) and leave in a closed jar for two weeks. 

Strain tincture and take 2-4 drops in a glass of water.

Use it for rinsing and gargling the mouth and throat.
Tincture is used for cleansing the body from parasites




Russian potion against flu and sore throat

Ingredients:

2 cups of hot water
1 teaspoon of fresh grated horseradish
1 teaspoon of ground cloves
1 teaspoon of honey

Mix ingredients
in a glass of warm water and drink slowly. Stir occasionally.



 

Safety precautions

Pregnant and breastfeeding women should not use clove.
You may not use clove two weeks prior to any surgery.

  1. Hmmmm.... I love the scent of cloves. If they have antihistamine properties and are anti-inflammatories, I wonder if they would be effective for hay-fever.

  2. Actually, clove oil can help to reduce allergy symptoms. Maybe it could help if you try to inhale essential oil. Put few drops of clove essential oil into hot (boiled) water, and inhale for 5-10 minutes. Hope it helps! :)
