We all love chocolate, because it is so tasty and sweet and improves our mood. But did you know that chocolate is very healthy for your skin and hair? Of course, I'm talking about dark chocolate. :)
Dark chocolate (which has a low sugar content and a high proportion of cocoa) is rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants that are nutritious for skin. After you eat a piece of dark chocolate, all the irregularities on the skin soothe and it automatically becomes smooth. It is a proven fact that chocolate has more antioxidants than strawberries. Iron, calcium, and vitamins A, B1, C, D and E are among the many nutrients that are found in dark chocolate. Replace a cup of coffee or green tea with cocoa that will deeply nourish your skin and give it a healthy glow. You can make the chocolate scrub to remove dead skin cells. Cellulite, that nasty spoiler of female beauty. We all have it, and want to get rid of it. But how? I will show you my way of dealing with that ugly appearance in this post.
First of all, if you want to get rid of cellulite, you need to hydrate your body. Drink at least eight glasses of water a day, because cellulite occurs due to dehydration. Second, drink four cups of parsley tea a day. Why parsley tea? Because, parsley tea is very efficient natural diuretic, and will cleanse your body of toxins.
Parsley tea is easy to make:
1. boil water (about 1 liter)
2. add cleansed parsley root in a water
3. let it boil for 1 minute
4. let it cool down (room temperature)
Drink this tea every day for a month, then do a pause for two weeks. You can even add some lemon in a tea, but do not add sugar. The results will be visible after first week of drinking this tea.
You will also need to do massage cellulite-affected areas with scrubs in your bathtub or shower.
This is a recipe for anti-cellulite scrub, which is highly efficient.
You will need:
- salt (2 teaspoons)
- coffee (1 teaspoon)
- cinnamon (1 teaspoon)
- geranium essential oil (5-6 drops)
- almond oil (3-4 teaspoons)
Massage cellulite-affected areas once a week with this scrub. You can also scrub your whole body with this, your skin will be extra soft. If you don't have almond oil, you can add some other oil, like olive, or unrefined sunflower oil. I added geranium essential oil in this scrub, because it has anti-cellulite effect. If you don't have it, you can do this scrub without it, but I recommend buying that oil.
You can also have anti-cellulite bath, once a week, if you have a bathtub. Just add a few cups of coarse sea salt in a warm (100 F) water, and relax for 20 minutes. After bath, take a rough towel and scrub cellulite-affected areas, massage in your favorite body lotion and enjoy that "new skin" feeling. :)
And at last, but not less important - physical exercise. Go on a walk when you can, run, swim, ride a bicycle... Anything. Exercise is important in fighting cellulite, because you need to stimulate your blood circulation in order to get rid of cellulite.
I hope you will find this post helpful and get rid of cellulite fast! :)
