Chocolate - your beauty ally

We all love chocolate, because it is so tasty and sweet and improves our mood. But did you know that chocolate is very healthy for your skin and hair? Of course, I'm talking about dark chocolate. :)

Dark chocolate (which has a low sugar content and a high proportion of cocoa) is rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants that are nutritious for skin. After you eat a piece of dark chocolate, all the irregularities on the skin soothe and it automatically becomes smooth.  It is a proven fact that chocolate has more antioxidants than strawberries. Eating it in decent portions can make you look not only happier but also healthier.

Iron, calcium, and vitamins A, B1, C, D and E are among the many nutrients that are found in dark chocolate. Replace a cup of coffee or green tea with cocoa that will deeply nourish your skin and give it a healthy glow. You can make the chocolate scrub to remove dead skin cells. Just mix olive oil, brown sugar and cocoa powder.

Flavonol (component in dark chocolate) helps protect skin protection from sunburn, redness and other UV damage, which has been clinically proven. When applied directly to the skin, can recover and provide the necessary moisture to areas of the body that are exposed to sunlight. However, do not give up on sunscreen.

Copper, zinc and iron are minerals that stimulate the growth and repair of cells. So, eating chocolate every day will increase the flow of oxygen and blood to the scalp which will result in healthier and stronger hair.
